She orchestrates commercialization strategies for startups and global firms alike, leveraging a product-thinking methodology and cross-sector collaboration.
Her focus is on identifying scalable market entries and forging high-impact partnerships, with a proven capacity for driving growth and delivering exceptional results.
Libi holds a degree in Behavioral Sciences from the Academic College of Tel Aviv-Yaffo.
Raanan Adin specializes in innovation management and water strategy. He is a qualified Internal Auditor for ISO 56001 (Innovation Management System Requirements) and the former Chairman of the Israel Water Association.
Raanan brings 30 years of experience in R&D and business development worldwide, currently serving as CEO of Adin Horizons.
As an innovator, he has co-authored 7 patents, several of which have been commercialized. He guides students in final projects, serves as judge in the Stockholm Water Prize for Youth Projects, and was awarded “Entrepreneurial Mentor” in Anhui Bengbu Jianghuai Entrepreneur University in China.
Raanan graduated with distinction from the elite Talpiot Academic Program of the IDF at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
Gilad Horn is a veteran entrepreneur with 20 years of experience commercializing industrial technology for the energy and water sectors. He served as CEO or executive for multiple firms and recently scaled Aquatis into a leader for critical infrastructure predictive maintenance.
He specializes in driving market entry strategies, securing strategic partnerships, and optimizing performance for global utility providers. As a senior consultant, Gilad delivers high-impact growth frameworks for technology-driven industrial enterprises.
Gilad holds an MBA degree and a degree in Microbiology.
Carmit Berger Aharonovich has over 20 years of global experience in water treatment and water quality management.
She supports organizations and water technology startups in navigating complex water challenges through technological evaluation, project management, and regulatory consulting.
Her background includes leading roles in desalination, sustainable farming, and large-scale water infrastructure projects globally. Carmit combines deep engineering expertise with practical field experience to improve water quality, efficiency, and compliance.
Carmit holds a Master’s degree in Water Engineering from Tel Aviv University.
Alex Furman is a Professor of Vadose Zone Hydrology at the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology. Before joining the Technion, he was a researcher at the Agricultural Research Organization of Israel (ARO – Volcani Center). Between 2017 and 2022, he served as the head of the Grand Water Research Institute (GWRI). He currently heads the Environmental Science and Engineering program at the Guangdong-Technion Israel Institute of Technology and serves as Vice-Dean for Graduate Studies and Research at the Technion’s Civil and Environmental Engineering faculty.
His research focuses on hydrology, with an emphasis on the subsurface. He primarily looks at basic science related to water flow and reactive transport in the vadose zone, with a focus on soil aquifer treatment (SAT) and hydrogeophysics. His teaching at the Technion includes a range of undergraduate and graduate courses in soil physics, hydrology, energy and mass transfer, and more.
Alex holds a Ph.D. in Hydrology and Water Resources from the University of Arizona and an M.Sc. and B.Sc. in Agricultural Engineering from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology.
Niv Pintow is a senior water-sector expert and founder of Livnat Engineering, with over 20 years of international experience in water resources planning and infrastructure.
He has led national and regional water master plans, desalination, groundwater, and utility-reform projects across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.
Formerly with Israel’s national water company, he brings hands-on expertise in strategy, regulation, and large-scale implementation. Niv works closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver resilient, sustainable, and bankable water solutions worldwide.
Niv holds a degree from Ben Gurion University.
Dr Tasneem Abbasi is a chemical-environmental engineer and Professor at the Centre for Pollution Control and Environmental Engineering, Pondicherry University. With 10 books, over 150 research papers, and 8 patents to her credit, she is consistently ranked among the world’s top 2% scientists across all fields and is among the top 0.5% globally within her specialization.
Dr. Abbasi holds a Ph.D. from Anna University of Technology, an M.S. in Water and Environmental Engineering from the University of Surrey, UK (Trilateral Chevening Scholar), an M.Tech in Environmental Engineering from Pondicherry University.

William Sarni is a globally recognized leader in water and nature strategy, technology innovation, and investments.
He is a trusted advisor to multinationals, technology companies, investors, non-governmental organizations, and water technology hubs, accelerators, and prize competition programs.
Known for his global network and innovative thinking on the future of water, William has worked with iconic brands including AB InBev, Diageo, and Nestlé Waters, as well as organizations such as the Stockholm International Water Institute and XPRIZE. He is a prolific author, speaker, and thought leader in water strategy, innovation, and investing.
William hosts the podcast Distilled by Qatium and co-hosts The Stream with Will and Tom.
William holds an M.A. in Earth and Environmental Sciences from Queens College, City University of New York.
Ravid Levy is a Senior Director at WaterEdge, Israel’s Water Innovation Community, a Government-Academia JV for enhancing innovation in the Israeli water ecosystem.
With more than 30 years of experience Ravid has worked extensively in Australia and Israel and consults internationally including India.
Ravid holds a M.Sc in Ecology and Environmental Quality from Tel Aviv University and a B.Sc in Biology and Environmental Sciences from the Hebrew University, Israel.
